The Night Ministry is proud to welcome the 24th cohort of Youth 4 Truth, marking nearly a decade of youth-led leadership and empowerment since the program began in 2016. This new cohort continues a tradition of young people shaping their own futures and sharing their insights and experiences to strengthen The Night Ministry’s mission.
Cohort 24 brings together eight dynamic young leaders from across our programs. Six are joining Youth 4 Truth for the first time: three from Interim, two from Parenting with Purpose, and one from the Crib. Their diverse perspectives reflect the richness of our community and the many paths young people take as they build toward stability and opportunity. They are joined by two returning members—one participating in a second cohort and one in a third—whose continued commitment offers invaluable experience and continuity to the group.
United by a shared desire to grow, advocate, and lead, this cohort is focused on building the foundation for brighter futures. They are pursuing professional development and employment opportunities, centering their mental health and well-being, working toward stable housing, and exploring the passions and hobbies that bring them joy and purpose. At the same time, they are deepening their roles within The Night Ministry, stepping into leadership and ensuring that youth voices remain at the heart of our work.
“Youth 4 Truth was created for young people who lead with courage, honesty, and a vision for their futures,” said Michelle Thomas, Client Development Supervisor at The Night Ministry. Their voices guide our work, challenge us to grow, and remind us of what’s possible when youth are given space to lead. We are incredibly proud to support them as they step into their power.”
The Night Ministry is inspired by their drive, resilience, and vision, and looks forward to all they will accomplish and is honored to walk alongside them on their journeys.
