Donor-Advised Funds
A donor-advised fund is a flexible, tax-smart, multigenerational giving tool that makes it easier than ever to support the causes you care about most.
It serves as a personal charitable giving account. Contribute cash, stocks, or other appreciated assets, and recommend grants to qualified nonprofits, allowing you to plan your giving more strategically.
By recommending a DAF grant to The Night Ministry, you can maximize your charitable impact, provide vital services and resources, and unlock hope and dignity for people experiencing homelessness and poverty.

NOTE: DAF grants cannot be used to satisfy a pledge or pay for event-related purchases such as tables, tickets, sponsorships, or auction items.
A few things to know about donor-advised funds:
You can use your DAF to make a one-time gift, or set up a recurring donation.
You will receive an acknowledgment for your gift, but not a charitable receipt for tax purposes. This is because it is your contribution to your donor-advised fund that is tax-deductible, not your distribution to The Night Ministry.
You can also designate a nonprofit organization, including The Night Ministry, as the successor on your DAF account. This allows you to continue your legacy of charitable giving.

Ask your DAF representative to include your name and address on the distribution, so we know where to send your acknowledgment.
