4th Annual Youth Employment & Education Fair at TNM

Do you need help accessing housing, health care or other services? The Night Ministry and other Chicago-based organizations are here to help. Use this list of resources for assistance.

On Wednesday, July 29, The Night Ministry hosted its 4th Annual Youth Employment & Education Fair, bringing together more than 50 youth and young adults with employers, educational institutions, and workforce development partners. The event created meaningful opportunities for career exploration, employment, and educational advancement for young people in our community.

This year’s fair wouldn’t have been possible without the dedication of our Youth Employment & Education Fair Working Group, whose collaboration and hard work shaped every detail of the event. We’re also deeply grateful to our Associate Board members, who spent time ahead of the fair helping youth prepare resumes and practice through mock interviews — giving them an extra edge walking through the door.

A huge thank you to the employees, organizations, and colleges who participated and made this event a success: Chicago Public Library, PNC Bank, Harold Washington College, Truman College, Broadway Youth Center, Pyramid Partnerships, Captel, All Chicago Youth Advisory Board, Gen Mobile, OAI, Second Chance Initiative, Goodwill Workforce Connection Center, Center for Changing Lives, Greater West Town Community Development Project, US Navy, Rush University, Hope Foundation, Primerica, Healthcare Plus, Shalom, and Backfire Brigade.

Together, we’re helping young people build brighter futures — one connection at a time.
